The Dome of the Mazarine Library. As we walked past the bells started ringing so we stopped to hear them toll. Then we did our walk and gawk. So many storefronts, so many fashionable folks walking past and so much beautiful architecture. The restaurant serves Southern style dishes which was a great change. We had seen the same menu selections over and over at all the cafes we had been to. So we were especially happy to see different things to order. I had a light and delicious Gazpacho with a kale salad. I ordered a smoked sausage on the side. Leslie had a chicken and mushroom pie, with the pie portion being a light flaky crust. Laura got he chicken plate with southern pecan crusted chicken planks. It is named after the 13 from the bakers dozen. All items were were organic and free range. Even better there was no smoking!!! Nothing spoils a great meal faster than a huge cloud of second hand smoke from the table next to you.

These recycle bins are full each and every morning. The Paris alarm clock is the sound of wine bottles being poured into the recycling truck.
