What a beautiful day to be in the park. The Luxembourg gardens were right across the road from 13 so we did not have to travel far. There were couples young and old, families and friends meeting up with each other everywhere in this large park. We wandered around the park watching the kids and their sailboats. We looked at the beautiful flower beds. We saw a bunch of the little ones on ponies. There were tennis courts that were full of players. We could not have asked for nicer weather and I broke out the shorts for the first time. After the park it was more wandering on our way home. I fully expected to pass a pastry shop but somehow me missed them. Passing the Louvere on the way home we were amazed at the crowds. It was a good thing we went on a Wednesday, There was a bride and groom in the crowd. It seems like we see one every where we go on holiday
The vines are metal and are part of the sculpture
A prime selfie spot
Holding up the dome
L&L by the flowers
These were cauliflower type heads but purple
Looking out to the distance
Lots of folks walking
This flower bed went on and on for 100 yards
These are not radio controlled
Each boat represents a country. They have the country flag on them and the initials of the country on the sail. Great Britan is in blue
They are propelled by the sticks seen here in the hands of these kids
These boats seem to be forming some sort of flotillia
Careful...
Success! Time to push off
Off to the races! Slow motion races that is
BMW scooters with roofs?
When they do road work the stones are kept, numbered and then replaced
We could live here
I am not sure what to make of this. Is he a famous centaur made of tin?
We did not see the dragon
What an odd place for a potted tree
Convertible Land Rover
Fashion winners for the day
Congrats to you both!
