At the top of the Montarte Hill is this Basilica. It is 130 feet tall and commands a 360 degree view of Paris. We rode up the Funicular to the top and wandered amongst the streets. It was chock full of cafes and artist stalls. The artists were aggressively attracting customers. One artist offered to pay for me for the sitting... but I was not convinced. We had lunch reservations at le Masion Rose and that was a blast. Our table was outside, right at the front of the building. Its is such a picturesque location that every time we looked up there was one or more people taking pictures of us. The food was delightful and the people watching was top notch.
