We got into the room and decide to take a walk to stretch out our legs. It drizzled a bit on us and it must be a wet area because we saw lichen growing on almost everything. There were also flowers everywhere and I am sure that they are not all getting watered. The volcano would periodically peek out of the clouds so I kept on taking pictures not knowing which one would be the best. We stopped in to wet our whistles and saw a group of sailboats. After watching for some time we decided that they must have been getting certified as they had to capsize the sailboats and right them. We were really amazed when we saw them abandon the sailboats and then after a few minutes they had to swim back to the boats that had drifted a good distance away. The water temperature in this mountain lake must be in the 50's at the most.
Liking the lichen
Still a few clouds but a clear view
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
These flowers were about one inch in diameter
With so many buds on this plant, the flowers must only last for a day
Crimson
Such a brilliant orange
Fade to yellow
Only one leg to stand on
Very interesting coloration
Thick with the roses
Poppies
I have never seen these before
Daisy May?
Growing like weeds on the side of the walkway
Cool indeed
This was zoomed in to capture the small boats on the big lake
Capsized
Swimming back to the boats
What now?
