I have seen social media posts about how it doesn't seem like Christmas. Imagine being in the middle of the South American summer at Christmas with strange iconography. Yes they have a Santa but he is dwarfed by the Seleknam man. Add to that the intense sun and it is definitely not Christmas weather. However since we are here together, that is all we need. I got back in town around 1:30 and we were both ready for some lunch. We walked to a crepe place we had scoped out the day previous. Ordering salads are always like the secret Santa. Sometimes you hit the jackpot sometimes you just have to scratch your head. We both ordered a Creaser salad and each one could could have fed three people. We both got to laughing when she brought them out. It is a good thing that we were hungry because the crepes that she brought out were big enough to be a placemat! We walked around town and then went to the store to possible buy something for dinner. We were both still so stuffed that we came out of the store empty handed.
Santa may carry big packages but he has nothing on this guy!
Real flowers in a persons yard. They don't look real
There is this statue on the outskirts of town
Of a hand reaching out
It was so big that I could not get it all in one shot
From the moving car
And then we passed it by
Skate park
As we have been known to say "see your butt!"
I like the cloud in the background
The wind here is strong enough for these folks to fly
Another statue in town
Interesting type of stone
The flyers from the front
And the side
Our Hotel room is right here
Lenticular Clouds rock!
I'm a little tea pot ...
Inferno, spicy and mild. Which one does not fit?
