This glass enclosed hut was ours to enjoy. The sun is quite intense and the heat had built up inside so much that it seemed like a fire was burning in the wood stove. We sat out here for some snacks and then we went on a walk. It was adventurous as always! We saw three calves frolicking in the trees. It seemed that they were headed straight for us so I said to them that if they were going to cause trouble I will tell their mom. That stopped them in their tracks. They looked at us for a few moments and then took off towards their corral.
The front of Bories House
A giant honeysuckle bush
The smell was exquisite!
So many flowers all around
The view from the hut
Mountains off in the distance
The neighbor has horses and a cute terrier
These were large noisy birds that flew in
All puffed up and no where to go
The terrier would pop up from the grasses in this field
I like the contrast of reds and greens
We would have to go outside to cool down and then back inside to warm up
It is a long way out there
The neighbor is out for a ride
Another snow capped mountain
The obligatory bride and groom
Must look up this type of bird
We saw this greyhound running in the field
And we almost walked by without seeing it in the grass, it blends in so well
It took no notice of us as we passed
Calf party!
Here they come, watch out!
Full speed ahead
An old boat decaying by the side of the lake
Two tall gauchos
A row of trees in the wide open space
The flag of this Chilean district
Part of the Singular Hotel
A painted pony
Some big geese
Puerto Natalas in the distance
An odd collection of concrete blocks
This calf made it home
A big house on the hill
The sun is setting at 10PM
Time to call it a night
