One of the excursion options we were given was the Overland Tour. It was a van ride all around the park that took us past several lakes, past the massif, out of the park, to the Pinnacles and back into the park. Our path took us from the "wet" area on to the dry area. Along with that was a shift of vegetation and a shift of the animals. Here we saw more guanacos and birds than we saw on the west side of the park. We continued on until we got to the area where the pinnacles are visible.
We woke up to a rainbow!
