Chila

We bundled up headed outside to explore and see where Chilla was. We had reservations for 2:30 but we thought we needed to know where it was anyway. Once we got there we went in and got seated right away so it was perfect. I got tasting-menu chapter 4 Leslie got tasting menu chapter 3. The details are enclosed. A couple items of note. My octopus was the best most tender tastiest octopus I've ever had.  The meat course came with a selection of your own knife  exclamation point you could choose a knife from several on a tray.  Leslie shrimp came out with the shrimp head fried and presented separately. We took more pictures here than we did at the other restaurant because we saw other people doing it so if everybody's doing it, it's OK. We sat right by the window and had a fabulous view of the walkway along the port area. The food came out one after another. Each one a delicate work of culinary art. The portions were large and so I was able to assist Leslie, that is always to my benefit. I was able to add a new mammal to my carnivore list the axis axis which is a deer native to India but is living down here now. I also was able to add the an Arctic toothfish. Sometimes called the black hake.
