It was sunny and clear and Copacabana so we decided to go to Sugar Loaf Mountain. Much like South Florida it's clear the coast and could be cloudy in land. When we got there we got up to the first level and everything was clear and beautiful. But Sugarloaf itself had a frosted coating of clouds. We went on up anyway and had a couple breaks in the clouds but it was cool and cloudy most of the time. It was still a beautiful experience and we loved and enjoyed every minute of it. We could see the marina and boats everywhere and athletic field and a military base. I noticed a oil derrick in the middle of the bay and I thought what a weird place for that. It turned up later off the beach of Copacabana for a while and then went further out to sea.
