Dinner at Mee

There us nothing like Udon noodles on a rainy day to warm the soul. We changed our reservations from the fancy Italian restaurant to Mee an Asian themed place so we could have a lighter dinner. I ordered sushi ala carte and Leslie had the aforementioned udon noodles. We also has a steamed dumpling sampler plate. It had 9 dumplings including a Shanghai soup dumpling, one with foi gras, two different prawn dumplings and a wagu rib filled dumpling. Goodness!  Of course we arrived early and they were not open yet, will we ever learn?  They greeted us and sat us at a table while we watched the final preparations. We especially liked how the supervisor fiddled with the draperies and lighting to get it "just so".  When one of the draperies got rearranged, she went back to fix it. She saw that we were watching and we all got a laugh. Leslie ordered some hibiscus tea and it came out in an engenius teapot. The teapot used spiral metal wires as a filter to keep the tea leaves out of the cup.
