Imagine a place that serves water to you at the table, but not ordinary water, pure rain water from the Patagonian rainforest. That's just the start and then it takes off from there. We arrived at Borago 10 minutes before it even opened because we are Gringos who are early for our appointments. We were able to talk to the guy cooking the lamb over an open pit fire right next to the front door. We had fun standing there talking to him. I was unable to take many pictures do to my level of astonishment. The service was beyond impeccable. We actually had private conversations with almost everyone that came to our table! The food was imaginative, exotic and delicious. Unfortunately there was a sea urchin dish that we did not like but it's no surprise because we have nevet liked sea urchin. It was a tasting menu that had nine dishes and 3 snacks. I tried to keep track and even drew pictures with Leslie's help but we were soon overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of it all. I got the wine pairing and Leslie got the juice pairing. We were unprepared for the Exotic nature of all the juices. Some had three or four ingredients some came in little tiny dishes one even came in a pipe that you might otherwise blow soap bubbles out of but instead we drank a tasty tasty Brew. I took a picture of the menu so that you can look at it because it's almost too much to describe. Our reservation was at 7 and we did not get back to the hotel till 10:30!
