Montevideo city center part 2

We had some more walking to do to get to the Central Square. Along the way there was some crazy interesting architecture.  Extensive Metal Works designed to hold up   building? And a couple other things so cool that we have to go back tomorrow to explore.

The tallest building in South America for 37 years

Another fabulous statue

A Pioneer in sheep herding period and a personal friend of mine.

Lots of folks to commemorate

Art Nouveau building

what does it tell you when the fanciest building is a bank?

Random art tiles on the sidewalk.

2 feet to Art tiles 1 motorcycle tire

Abandoned and just plain creepy
