Iguazu Falls are the greatest waterfalls we have ever seen

Put the power of Dettifoss in Iceland, the expansive real estate of Victoria Falls in Africa, and the proximity of Niagara Falls all combined and you get Iguazu Falls. first we had to take a train out to the far side of the river. Then from there a series of walkways over the river takes you to the Devils throat. The devil has one big throat and a whole lot of water is going down into it his belly. The water is brown as it starts to fall. It turns lighter and lighter until it is a white mist.
Riding the train
Coati are raccoon like creatures, they are found all over the place in the forest

Coati were everywhere. You were not supposed to feed them but that did not stop folks

The walkway across the river

Here we are on the platform

A butterfly landed on my head

He must be hanging on to my only remaining eyebrow. He stayed on my head for 10 minutes or more

Nice spot for a picture

Two tenacious clumps of grass

The amount of people on the platform with ebb and flow. As a train would pull in it would get really busy and then it would thin out as a big burst of mist would get everyone wet.

Don't fall over

Getting a big blast of spray is so fun!

So many different cataracts to view. It's hard to focus on just one area

You could watch the water Cascade and change colors as it descended

These two clumps of grass were hanging on for dear life. We thought it was so incredible that they were able to stay there we sat and watched them for quite some time

Rainbow

Massive amounts of water

The bad trail

The good trail

Waving hi to everyone

Birds and butterflys lined the trail
