This hotel was built to house visitors to a 1922 international exposition but it was not completed in time. It has all the roaring 20's oppulanc and grandure of that time. There exquisite details everywhere and large open spaces. We explored the hotel first while we were trying to get back to the lobby. Next as we searched for the spa. After staying in three different hotels over the last three nights, we were a bit worse for wear. It was certainly the right time for some pampering. We each got a massage and then sat in the sauna. We felt refreshed and took a walk along the beach. We had to dodge puddles and a sprinkle, but we have arrived.
