Once we were sufficiently warmed up by our green tea, we crossed 12 lanes of traffic to get to the Japanese gardens. Our visit was two fold, one to see the gardens and two to have a Yummy Sushi lunch. They had a whole salmon laying out getting ready to fillet. The ordering was a little tricky it was a combination of Japanese and Spanish on the menu. But we managed to order and we got a tasty lunch. The koi fish were gigantic but they were not on the menu. The gardens were quite beautiful, and very popular with families and couples.
