A glorious and extended ride out to the Baltic Sea

We were excited to see this section of our cruise. The archipelago that Stockholm is in has thousands of islands. Many of them are inhabited with a single or a handful of houses. The dwellings become fewer and fewer as we go further out towards the Baltic Sea. We had the GPS on the whole way so we could watch where we were. That gave us time to go down and have a very tasty dinner at the Indo Chine. An indication of how many pictures I took would be that my camera battery died while I was still taking pictures. That signaled the end of our viewing time so we went to bed at approximately 11:30. The sunset was spectacular. The cruise ship had still not reached the open Baltic Sea at that point.

Our first sighting of the Silver Spirit our cruise boat

The back of the boat where most of the public areas are found

The front of the boat where our cabin is Midway on the third floor from the top

A very large and spacious sweet, more room than we really need

The View looking out towards the balcony

Happy camper number one on the balcony

Happy camper number one and number two on the balcony

A view of Stockholm from the balcony

Either a hospital turn University or university turned condos
No use of electronic devices

Enjoying a lovely dinner I asked for extra spicy and I got it

Leslie is quite pleased with her Lobster pad thai

It's good to know that if we needed to drown our sorrows in alcohol there is plenty of alcohol to drown us with

Iconic sailboat at Sunset picture

Even relatively far from Stockholm it's a very busy voting area there's an Excursion boat and a car ferry

Now we know where to get our Oxdjupets

At a very narrow section between two islands we saw this fort. It had forward facing guns and cybrid facing guns to ripped to shreds any enemy Naval vessels

Not so many inhabitants out here

And then we come upon a tiny little village

As we bundled up against the cold we forget that is actually summer for the locals. So they're out here in shorts enjoying a nice warm evening, at least warm for them
