Norsk Museun part 2

After the church we visited a farmhouse that was owned by a rich farmer.  So rich that he could afford a guest house.  There was a woman inside to give us the scoop.   Then we got to meet the farm animals.  Goats and pigs were right out front.  The horses were further afield.   All the animals were doing their best to stay cool.  Wallowing for the pigs and staying in the shade for the goats.  A cute little girl was walking around barefoot but she was too quick for me to get a picture.  We saw the garden and marveled at the hops, broad beans and the lingonberrys

The farmers were the army as well.  Once a year their guns would be inspected.  If the gun wasn't working they got fined
