A race to beat the rain

While we were having our tasty tea, we heard several peals of thunder. As we were walking towards the ship we started to feel raindrops. They were rather large and so I suspected we were going to have a downpour. Luckily for us we were at a major square and so we saw a taxi just sitting there. He let us in and drove a straight to the pier area. We were in the boat perhaps two or three minutes before it really started raining, and within 15 minutes it was a good old tropical downpour. Later we saw people lining up for the dryer so that they could dry the clothes that just got drenched
Score! Great tea

Moderate rain

Heavy rain

It's hard to make out but this is water streaming off of the awning areas

We sat outside for just a couple minutes before the driving rain and wind drove us inside the Arts Cafe

An official downpour

We saw this bike on the bridge with the baby on the back. They were caught in the heaviest of the rain.
