- It was a later 10:00 am docking so we were able to see the process happening. There was a pilot rope that they threw out that men on the land were able to pull in the big ropes with and that was done front and back of the ship. There was a band that showed up to play music for people as they were off loading. We were still on our deck watching that all happen. Then we walked into town. There are many similarities between the last two Baltic states as one can be expected. This geographical region is pretty small. One thing that really stood out where how many dogs here in this town. I took pictures of several of them but there were many many more I was not able to take a picture of. We stopped at the fat cat for some tea while they were having the beer tasting for the people from the ship. We got to a small park that had a large display case. Within the display case we're scenes from ancient Lithuania. I only took a couple pictures but the amount of work putting that together was hard to fathom.
