We pile into the van and follow Jan to Aunt Maralene's place. We have a great afternoon of sweet cakes, cookies, coffee and a fancy holiday drink. She's got old pictures that we get to look at and old stories to tell. It's been 17 years since we have last seen her and Jan and it wass a great reunion. Like last time she had the American flag hung up on your balcony. We got to see all the pictures that she painted over the years. She gave us each a icon that she had painted. Jan gave us flags for this region of Sweden. We also got to see some of the doll furniture that my grandfather made.
