Early departure from Visby

It was a 2pm departure from Visby so just walking around town filled up our time. We noticed a lot of families with small children as well as people with dogs. I wonder if you go on vacation on Visby you can bring your dog with you. We saw several incredible shops selling woolen items. One was named Thea! And we stopped in an old
bookstore. The smell of old books is always inviting.
My mother's name was Dorothea and she went by the name Thea. Since she was Swedish this was extra special

The old bookstore

 The ceiling inside the bookstore

Intricate brickwork

There was an art museum there that had several cool sculptures out in front

The golden beaver

With magic powers

Not so many people walking on this street

A fuzzy dog hearty enough for the weather

We wondered where this limo was going to go. There's probably only 3 streets in the entire town he would be able to maneuver through

Classic Swedish look

Farewell Visby

The Sheep is holding the Gotland flag

The harbor on the way back to the ship

A classic old wooden look

A great day to be out on a boat pleasure sailing

The Queen Victoria was docked at the same. As we were. The Queen Victoria has let herself go and become rather Gigantic

Goodbye visby perhaps we'll see you again

These are noteworthy Cliff formations on the Northern end of visby they are ancient coral reefs uplifted by plate tectonics

No better reason to have caviar and champagne appetizers

The last we saw Visby for hitting open Sea
