Top of the Town

Once we got settled in the B&B, we put on our walking shoes and headed into town.  It was a little under a mile to get to the fish market and then just a couple blocks past there to the funicular. The sun was hot and who knew we would be sweating in Norway.  The guy who drove the vernacular knew we would be sweating because all the glass of the enclosure made it in oven. Luckily the ride was just a couple of minutes and as we gained altitude the Breeze get cooler and cooler. We got to the top and decided that beer and wine would be an excellent choice. We had an outdoor table to watch all the people. Leslie got to see two women in front of her make the waiter take every beer out of the cooler so they could inspect each one. Once they chose their beer they got ice Sprite and a glass,  then they mixed it all together beer, ice, sprite. What a tasty treat!  We saw a variety of things including hang gliders another bride, a couple of Chinese girls doing a fashion shoot and an amorous couple on a Norway hookup.  We stopped off at the fish market on the way home. The fish look so good that we we decided to have dinner back at the B&B. We buy a kilo of King Crab, shrimp, and langoustinos  We walked back to the apartment but stopped at a store to get butter and breakfast makings. I was so excited about the Seafood that I forgot even take any pictures. One picture is all we have and it is a tasty chunk of King Crab

The number one dot is the fish market just past there in the light blue is the start of the funicular and the rest is the trip up the hill to the top of the town

We are here! I thought her Bergen card would get us in for free but we had a pay half price and staying in line

We're completely encased in glass like a greenhouse and we are the hothouse Flowers

The driver got out of vernacular and walked over to help these people buy tickets

It stretches on and on

Actually just register here where the photo shoot is taking place period as we walked by I tried to join but they declined my offer

If you look at the end of this Peninsula there's a large grey building. Just before that building is our air b and b

Now everyone is in line to go down the hill

Not everyone is as attractive as they were in Copenhagen

Here Comes the Bride

With the Reflections it looks like you're underwater

So much caviar and we don't have the right spoon

A great spread of fish

Mix that with your beer Sprite in ice and see what you get

Hands down the best King Crab I've ever had. It was sweet, it was firm,  it was succulent and juicy.  On top of that shell was easily defeated.
