Before dinner we stopped up at the 11th deck again. We saw the activities director Moss Hills and got to discuss many things with him. He was born and raised in Zimbabwe and has been cruising for many many years. He loves silver seas and thinks he has found his permanent home here. There are a couple of very fancy dining spots that require reservations. We are happy to have reservations at each one. I use we loosely because Leslie was the one that woke up at midnight with her cel phone and got us reservations. She did it the very first night it was available 90 days before the start of the cruise. The dinner was quite exquisite and as we were watching the sun go down. I had escargot as a starter the bouillabaisse to carry me through and a lamb chop as my entree. The sunset was as spectacular as the dinner was
A delightful quarter hour spent with Moss Hills
All dressed up and ready for dinner
And it is a fine dinner here at La Dame
Escargot on a fine pastry
And what is underneath dish number one
Leslie had a soup of forest mushrooms, served on a log
So many fine bottles of wine to choose from
Decanters at the ready
Sun going down
We did not see the Green Flash at this Sunset however it lasted and lasted
Great swirls of color
Light and dark
Gold reds yellows, oh my!
Zooming in just a little
Zooming in a little more
Zooming in a lot
What a fine Sunset to cap a beautiful day
