The Electric Boat experience

From our apartment it was a five minute walk over to the dock area.  We found  a lady standing there with a sign that said Fritz Leip. She knew that it was me right off the bat, I guess I look the part. She said that several people had tried to be Fritz to get on our boat!  I offered to show her ID but she laughed and said no, I was the only one that looks like a Fritz. The boat is a replacement boat from the one that we had originally booked.  I'm glad that if there was going to be boat trouble, that we were not on it. This one was all Electric and Thomas was our Capitan . The solar panels on the top power the boat and charge it up was not running. Its a very cool technology it was a catamaran with very deep hull.
You can't see it so well because of the black color but there is a double hull

Tomas is in shorts!

Shorts!

The solar panels on top

A fine crew

The day before a regstta of hundreds of boats went out for a one week sail around the islands of Sweden

We pierced skansen in open-air museum that has buildings from around Sweden. This is a 14th century building

We say geese and Gosling's, ducks. Herons and a brief blur of a mink with a fish in its mouth

Stockholm has decided to make a sculpture Island and has reached out to world famous artists to put pieces here

So many islands with cool buildings on them
Lots of steps

Karelyn and Tyler. The wind is picking up

Ferry boats coming in and going out

The wind is now much stronger as we are approaching the Baltic Sea

Old school excursion boats one of the oldest still operating

Is it the St Louis arch? Now it's a very cool sculpture with water feature

Is sorcerer perhaps

This is an amusement park ride with the chairs on swings. However these chairs swing around 100 metres up

The biggest drawbridge I've ever seen

Sailboats and other boats everywhere

A special bay with all old wooden boats in it
In the bay were some old wooden boats that Tomas told us used to be piloted exclusively by women. These women worked 364 days a year and on the one day off they would have a party. At the party there was a contest for the best breasts. Apparently all that running made them extra perky.  We all got a giggle out of that.

Great old architecture

Can you pick out the people from Miami?
