Goodies from all of Denmark

During a renovation it was hard to find. Pieces to put into the Castle. However reforms in the early 1900s put a burden on the noblemen and thier familys.  So they would sell a lot of their heirlooms to maintain their lands.  The result was that the Carlsberg Beer Baron of Denmark was able to purchase many excellent items to stock his museum with.
King Frederick had ivory vignettes built just to show how wealthy he was. Ivory was worth more than it's weight in gold

Just a bauble

The ring stone says I'm King that's why

The hallway of splendor goes on and on

Cherub time

Platitudes

Fine art

Serious facial hair

Nights all night long

For keeping interesting items within

A man of my heart and facial hair

With the ceiling this detailed and ornate

One must wonder why is the bed covered on the top? The ceiling cannot be seen!

But you better make a great looking ceiling anyway

The good old double headed eagle. Was that actually a bird that lived at one time two heads?

The work of a master craftsman

Cabinetry like I've never seen

I love the undulating columns

The time and Effort that must have gone into this

I'm glad I don't have to repaint

Chandelier

Perhaps the nicest piece in the entire complex
