Getting back from Catherine's Palace

 Coming back from Catherine's Palace we loaded up into the bus and our guide told us we be getting on highway. We thought that would be a good thing until the entire highway stopped for 20 minutes.  We were getting concerned because they open all the drawbridge is up at 1 am. It's very difficult than to get to the inner city between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. We were worried we would have to sleep on the buses! Once the highway opened up the bus driver really went fast. He was going through small streets with cars on either side with great skill at the speed he was going.  It was 12:30 before we go back to the boat

Midnight on the bus. They told us we would be back at 11:45

The highway is very well lit

We passed some very large bridges that were lit up as well
