Our Wild Dinner at Aeifur

Aeifur is a Viking themed restaurant. The servers and the Host are wearing rough-hewn tunics. The cutlery is old style almost to the point of nonfunctionality. The food was traditional old Norse recipes. It was some of the most fun we've had in a while. As each guest arrived the Host would yell "my Lords, we have guests from Far Away who have kidnapped people from Sweden they are from New Zealand"! Then the whole restaurant would erupting cheers and banging on the tables. The tables were long and communal. The benches on one side had no backs but on the other side we could lean against the wall. With all the bodies it got to be pretty hot as the evening went on. More and more people were seated and more and more people were cheering and getting wild. A mother son couple from Kazakhstan sat next to us and it was his birthday. Our waitress was grabbing these giant bowls and stacked five or six of them up. She mentioned that she did CrossFit to prepare to work there. She climbed up on a ladder and laid letter and led us all in an Old Viking gibberish cheer. We were packed together so tightly that Leslie had to stand up and walk across the table to use the restroom.  At some point our waitress came by and plunked down a Viking helmet on Tyler's head. She also gave him a rubber battle-axe which saw a lot of action around our table and others as the night wore on.
