It was more cloudy today than yesterday so it took longer for the temperature to warm up. Chilly day equals some warm soup and a spicy salami sandwich to split. These items were obtained at the Hotel Adler which is no longer a hotel. Instead it is a restaurant and a bar. The décor is very warm and inviting and we really enjoyed our lunch. Then we went to the Postal museum and saw some fun displays about stamps. They had them organized by theme. Art stamps and nature stamps and so on. We had to get out token for the Treasure Museum here. The token opened the security door and allowed visitors access to the Chamber of Treasures Room. After this we did some driving around. First we headed south and then turned around at a park. Then we turned up a road that took us up the mountain. I was happy when it turned and headed back downhill. There were a few places where the road hugged the rock face. I had to grab the steering wheel very tight indeed.

We had to wait for the first door to close before the second door would open. It was all very James Bondish with the security and low lighting once we were in. There was a selection of paintings of the Rhine, a moon rock and other items of note
No photography was allowed but I grabbed these images from the interweb
