The quaint small town of Luxeuil les Bains has a long history. It was originally a Roman settlement that was sacked by the Attila and his Huns in 451 AD. Since that worked so well for the Huns, then the town was sacked, burned and pillaged by the Saracens, Normans, Magyars and Muslims. Finally in 2021, it was destroyed by the Leips. Not really, we just had dinner but we really destroyed our three course meals. There are thermal baths, a casino, several car washes and a fine restaurant named La Pomme d'Or. The car washes were for cleaning the Peugeot before we turned it back in and the restaurant is the one where we had dinner. We also did our Covid tests so that we can return home.
