Alysen pulls out all the stops, again, for an incredible anniversary breakfast. She arrived at our door at 9:30 a.m. She then escorted us down to the restaurant for our special anniversary breakfast. A private table was made up in a alcove with a huge spread of fruit, pancakes and champagne. Our waiters name was Christian. He was from the Philippines and I got to swap old Philippine stories with him. He was very delightful and his brother also works here as a chef. His brother works at Adam and Eve and when I told them that the dish I had there was the Sizzling squid he laughed. He said that this was a Philippine dish that his brother was asked to add to the menu, whereupon I laughed as well.
Shall I lead you to your surprise
Thanks again to Alysen
