Here it is our first morning in the Seychelles! We ate breakfast, talked with Alysen and decided to really relax. We swam in our pool, read our books, watched the birds, got back in the pool several times and really decompressed. We were intentional, that during this leg, we were not going to overextend ourselves. We are three weeks into the trip with two weeks still to go, si the Seychelles is a good point to recharge. Across the Lagoon from us are very tall mountains. The clouds roll right up over them and then mist rolls down the other side towards us. So we will have portions of direct sun that will get hit and then a bank of mist will roll over us making it cloudy. A delightful side effect is that we will get tiny droplets of cooling mist onto our sundrenched bodies. During this time I took a lot of the bird pictures and gecko pictures and the other nature and wildlife pictures that I displayed earlier. Later in the afternoon we went down and got on a pedal boat. We paddled around the Lagoon while another family was learning how to paddle board. I had a little bit of difficulty getting my giant feet into the paddling area. It wasn't until I took my sandals off that I could actually manage it. We paddled around for about half an hour and explored the entire region. We passed a crazy boat called the LesLi.
