We had a relatively early start to catch our flight in Auckland. We had a very delightful man from Pakistan drive us to the airport. We got to thinking about how many people we met in Auckland from other countries. Starting from our driver on the first day who was from China, we also had another driver from Pakistan and one from New Zealand. We had servers from Colombia, France, South Korea and the United States. Lastly our Qantas check in person was from South Africa. The terminal was quite nice with accents of Modern Art. We got to go to the lounge and have some breakfast. Here for the first time, I saw an automatic pancake maker machine. It was quite elaborate. Leslie had an easy bake oven as a child so she had a couple pancakes for nostalgia sake.
Cool art made from ropes
A fine display of orchids in the first class lounge
An extensive area of foodstuffs at the lounge
Someone somewhere must have won an award for this machine
And out of the end comfresh pancakes!
