Tea and Walkies

We had tea scheduled for for 4:00 at the castle.  We also had dinner scheduled at the Thornbury Castle at 7:00.  So Leslie and I split all the tasty bits that come with the tea. They were exceptionally tasty and so we needed to take a walk into town to help digest all that goodness.  Leslie got Jasmine tea and I got the Ceylon tea. There was a very sweet older couple that were watching us when we were watching them. She had a hard time with the phone so she would hand him the phone so that he could operate it for her. They were watching us have so much fun with our anniversary tea time. The walk we took lead us through the cathedral area and the attached cemetery. We stopped in to look at the stained glass. Then we walked into town and bought a couple of things at a a stationery store. There were so many flowers throughout town that it was amazing. It turns out they were having a competition. I believe that the town has a competition within itself and different towns compete against each other. As far as we were concerned Thornbury wins!
