Liverpool and to our hotel the Nadler

It was a fairly long drive to Liverpool. We kept ourselves entertained by talking to our driver. We drove through some fine English countryside. We drove over couple of rivers and talked to Chris about when he was a long haul truck driver. There was some construction along the way but all in all it was a nice drive.  We got to the hotel and got into our room. It was a two story room with a kitchenette and access to a hidden garden.

A river through the fields

A row of brick buildings

You can see the cooling towers off to the right so this must be a water supply to the power plants

Random gecko on the wall

Rough edges to this old port town, the graffiti makes it look worse, it seems like a good building underneath

Working class neighborhoods

Brick churches

Its graduation day

A modern cathedral

Odd facade

Our hotel is in an old warehouse building

Our room's first floor seating area

A nice bed indeed

Andy was quite chipper and helpful

We had the couch made up into a bed

Our secret garden

Only for us!

Rosa was very sweet and got us into our room straight away
