On the previous leg we had difficulty getting our luggage up into the carry-on space. The 737 has tiny overhead spaces. We saw that this leg used the same plane so thought maybe it was prudent not to try and carry them on again. So we checked in the two bigger bags. It was a double edged sword, I did not have to try to stuff the bags into the overhead nor did I have to carry them down the stairs from the plane in Bali. But we did have to stand and wait for them for a long time once we were in Bali After we got our bags and went through customs we saw a gauntlet of between 50 to 100 drivers all with tiny signs with the names of the people they are trying to pick up. The writing on the signs was sometimes illegible. I had to walk right up to where they were standing so that I could try and read as many as possible. Luckily while I was looking, a man called out Leslie! I said Leip and he said yes and we were off. We were able to get into the van relatively quickly and start driving. Our driver was delightful we kept up a conversation the whole 35 minutes until we got to the Six Senses. There we had an outdoor check in with a beautiful sea breeze blowing through our hair. We had seen pictures and videos online about our Villa but once we got in we were blown away. It is very elegant and quite beautiful. Although it was late at night I still managed to take pictures of the room.
