Lovely Lacock

Lacock is a quaint little village that has been used in many movie and TV Productions. Just to name a few it was featured in the Downton Abbey movie and several Harry Potter movies. It is a time capsule the old time Great Britain. Of course we stopped to have some tea. And walked around the town and oogle all the sites. They had a blind room where they would put the people that were too drunk. This was the origin of the term blind drunk. Instead of thatch the roofs were made out of limestone. There's a limestone outcropping nearby that they would pour boiling water on during the cold months. That would cause the Limestone to flake off into the correct sized chunks to use as roof tiles.
