Big Brass Band

Brass brands have come a long way since John Philip Sousa's time. The Villa Marina complex was built in the Victorian age as part of the very first international travel boom. It was built to host dances back in the Victorian age. They host free concerts on a regular basis and this one was also free. We did donate to the cause, supporting a youth band. There was a wide variety of music played at the concert. From Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin to some very unusual new compositions like Devils Bridge and Prismatic Light. We saw all of our fellow travelers at the venue. We also got to see some of the youth play. It was a blast!

This was the MC who shared lots of Isle Of Man trivia, lots and lots of trivia

He was watching tonight no trombone playing

We sat to the side for a while
