We continued walking towards the harbour and stopped at the Sky Tower. It seemed to be a very tall structure. However it just seems tall. Compared to other towers like CN tower in Toronto or the Skytree in Tokyo. It's just a baby. Because the surrounding buildings are not so tall it just seems huge and it certainly isn't closing on the Auckland Skyline. Regardless we went up to up and had a good 30 seconds are soul of a clear view. Then clouds rolled in and we would catch glimpses of the surrounding area. It was still aware of our time. The pictures look like we're underwater due to the thickness of the glass. They also had sections coveed in glass panels were you could see straight down. You could walk over these sections but it felt like stepping on the crack of the sidewalk. My brain stem said no, I felt like I was tempting fate.
Looking up at the Sky Tower
As you ride the elevator up you can see all the way down the elevator shaft
We had a lovely dinner in the Tokyo sky tree
