Down to the docks

We left the bar and went down to the docks to get to the heart of the matter. At the ships side there were bands and singers and all kinds of things going on.  People were there as family units. Couples with kids, couples with dogs, grandparents with grandchildren,  Leslie with Fritz. People on the Queen Mary II were all lined up watching us while we were lined up watching them. We worked ourselves along the dock and towards the hotel as the ceremonial activities proceeded. Then the horn blasted and the fireworks went off. The ship then motored out into the Mersey and was off!  We walked all along the dockside and saw sculptures including one of the Beatles. Then it was goodnight Liverpool.

As we exited the panorama building we saw this art

Look up to the 34th floor it's the var!
