How did 9.5 hours go by so fast

This is how 9.5 hours fly by: great first class seats,  a super flight attendant crew, a diverse landscape to fly over and generally clear weather so we can see it all. Our flight path took us over water for a couple hours, that is where the food and attendants come onto play. Then we crossed into Africa over Somalia.   This was an arid landscape with an occasional riverbed. Them Somalia, Ethiopia and Egypt which was mostly desert. We flew over the Nile River for a long time. It became as me a huge lake at the Aswan Dam. We missed Cairo but could see Alexandria off to the East. We flew over the Mediterranean crossing over Crete and several Greek Islands. The path then led over the Balkans Macedonia, Monrenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Lichtenstein, Switzerland and then France.   It was a geography lesson. We saw snow capped mountains over Switzerland,  island volcanoes over Greece, seaside mountains in Croatia and patchwork farms over France.

Tony and Shamus are the number one reason. So funny, so professional and so personable. They made the trip great fun.
