Our night at Audleys Wood

This is a former Victorian hunting lodge. It is a quaint hotel and restaurant that had been around since 1880.  It only took is 45 minutes from Heathrow to get there perhaps that is due to ot being Sunday evening. We chose it since it is very cool and a look so becau it is half way between Heathrow and Stonehenge. We checked in and got to our room very fast. Andera at t the front desk was quite efficient and delightfuly happy. She showed us the room which was very acceptable. We quickly went outside and walk around the grounds. We needed to stretch her legs out after finally landing in the plane. We had dinner reservations for 8 but we move them to 6:45. I had wild boar and apple sausage which I thought was wild boar, and apple sausage two different items. But it was a single item and was singularly tasty. We got an asparagus and quail egg appetizer. Leslie got the fish and chips. The fish was gigantic and the chips were three times cooked. As a result I got to eat some of the fish and many of the chips went uneaten. We thought we're going to call it an early night because our guide was coming to get us at 8 but we still stayed up until 10:00.  I know 10:00 doesn't sound like much but with a 3-hour differential it was like 1 AM back in the Seychelles.

Nothing beats tour name on a sign at the end of a flight
